is it me or should it have been
I am the most beautiful girl he has ever looked at?
I am not cocky and by all means I know I am not the hottest ticket around..but why did he say it how he did?

maybe its just me but while its a very sweet thing to say to someone its also a little bit of a turn off and makes you look twice at him and wonder am I miss something here.

Those are two totally different statements.
He may have looked at many girls more attractive than you but your the best looking one that looked back.
Don't try to twist the words of what others say. I word things in a certain way and someone will say, "In other words, ......", and then I have to straighten them up and say, "No." Then I have to repeat to them exactly what I said in the way that I said it.
I never accept it when my words are said to be different than how they were said.

I agree with Freaked Out. He gave you a compliment so take it as one. Whether he meant that you're the most beautiful girl he's ever seen or you're the most beautiful girl who's ever given him a look back or whatever, he still called you beautiful. If it's upsetting you that much though, just ask him what he meant by that. If you can't communicate it won't last.

Maybe he was just trying to be creative. Maybe youre the most beautiful girl that has ever gave him a second look...you could ask him.

i think freaked out is also right, he thinks your beutifal, 'nough said, however, ive known many guys to have different tastes, the most popular and prettiest girl, may not be what every guy wants to date, atleast not in my case, and for people who say he just wants to scr*w you, look at his history, and keep it slow, the people who believe him and immedietly hop in bed, are those who dont try and get to know eachother
