I have convinced my mom that its pointless to put up something thats only really useful for one, two days tops, when you have to take it back down again. Their were 3 of us and all of us know Santa ain't real, so I find it futile to spend $20-80 on a tree then another $15-60 decorating that tree when you only use it for a few days, couple a weeks a year

My family used to buy trees mid december, and then we just wait a few days (two or three) to set up the tree. It lasts longer that way, , because ours can't survive with the medium heat for two months.

I wanted to set it up early this year. We always set it up after Thanksgiving but I guess I am going to have to rush to get it set up before Thursday if I want to be early like I planned.

I did my tree and house yesterday. A bit early, but my son had been asking me to do it. Since they have all the decorations and stuff in the shops, he wanted ours up too
