Do you conform and wear the stereotypical clothing of a speicifc culture\scene...like metal culture, punk culture, emo scene\culture. Or do you choose to stray away from the norm, and wear whatever you want and it doesn't matter to you or not wether or noy u wear the stereotypical.
Im asking cause it seems like alot of ppl conform to the stereotypical...

Have NEVER 'conformed' to any stereotype at all ... and that is for sure! Hey, this Empty-Nesting Retiree (Female) had an ATYPICAL Career (I am a Military Retiree), had ATYPICAL Degrees (in traditionally male-dominated fields), and an ATYPICAL life. I like to be COMFORTABLE .. and that means that I stray from the NORM all the time.

good question, I have thought that before, I think people get caught in there own cliques and they don't break out and dress different, no reason you should only dress in black, or only wear prepped out style. I think it's best to mix everything, obey nothing and be yourself always. I also notice people think they must listen to one kind of music and they "hate" all other kinds. I do what I want, I where what I want, I talk to who I want and I listen to what I like, which is a lot of everything.(although more techno and metal than other stuff)

I think I used to when I was younger, but as I got older, I stopped caring.
Heck, my favorite outfit of the moment is jeans and a tshirt with a flying unicorn crapping lucky charm marshmallows onto cute happy stars and clouds
What stereotype does THAT fit into to :D

i wear whatever i want.. i guess i have a bit of a rocker vibe.. but it's not to fit a label.. i just like it and i wear what's comfortable and that i feel confident in..
