I don't think men care enough about certain things that we find worthy of brain activity related to effective storage and retrieval :) It's like having an amazingly evolved selective memory, it's brilliant in fact.
A man can remember the scores of every basketball game from last year's season but CHOOSES to forget the toilet seat up or his underwear on the floor. It's genius!

I think the forgetting for men depends on the reason they are angry.My husband has a long memory of wrongs.So I'm more inclined to say
women forgive faster.

it depends on the person and type of personality but usually men forgets easier than women of course because they just need to hang out with another women and forget the past easily ;)

Men pretend that they have forgotten, but I'm pretty sure they store it all up there. I think they are worse at forgetting than women.

men have selective memory...their mind chooses to remember certain things and forget about other things...there are keywords that the mind registers and then according to those keywords the "memories" get filed into sections one to be remembered and one to be forgotten...keywords that make them remember : sex, lunch... keywords that make them forget: kids, school, money...
