I have four parrots Spike (mean), Miss Queenie (arrogant), Luvie, and Monte. And then I have an outside cat who answers to Mama KiKi and is now spayed, and dogs Peggy Sue a blue heeler (rescued), Sachet-something far north (puppy of two rescues), Tallulah a rescue chow or spitz mix, and Mister, found wandering down the street with mange and starving with a broken rope around his neck. I think he is a very small Pit Bull or Bosten Bull Terrier but he's a sweetie and so glad to be fed, clean, and loved. I just hate to turn an animal away but I am at my limit. Rescued animals are just so grateful to have a good home, care and love. Actually all of my animals but two are rescues-thrown away by those who thought they wanted them and when they were through with them, just discarded them to die.
