It's the day after Thanksgiving. Retail stores call it Black Friday as it's the biggest shopping day of the year -- and it's sales generally put stores "in the black" at that point. This means stores are at the point of MAKING money.
Due to the fact it's one of the biggest shopping days of the year LOTS of stores have great deals. Often times early in the morning specials that draw people INTO the stores to spend money. Where I work we have a 3 day sales (Fri, Sat, Sun), a ONE day sales (stuff on sale Friday only) and a 4-hour sale (first 4 hours we're open on Friday). These great prices is what retailers hope to draw people into the store to buy MORE items.

It's true. It is the day after Thanksgiving when people rush to get to stores very early, fight the crowds to get bargains, but then again these days, there are many sales before and after this day. It's called Black Friday because on this day, it's supposed to indicate whether the retailers will do well in Christmas sales.

Its the day after thanksgiving when everything goes on sale. People start doing their christmas shopping right after thanksgiving. Believe me when your short on cash and have lots of people to get gifts for, black friday sales help. lol

For a secong there black friday ,sounds like pipo have to dress in Black ...but its not it ...thats just my thinking ...hahaha...some words can make you think wonders !!
