not me... i can't stand the crowds and funds are low right now - i know my sister will if she has the day off... she loves that day

For those who don't know what Black Friday is, it's the day after Thanksgiving in the USA. It begins in the wee hours of the morning, and it's the biggest shopping day of the year! The best deals are between 4 a.m. and 7 a.m., and usually only have a few of the sales items. It's worth it to those looking for a great bargain on electronics and such.
I don't like the fact that greed causes people to literally fight one another in the stores! So personally, if I'm really hoping to get something, I'll ask a friend or relative to TRY to get my one wish item, but I'm fine if they can't.
It's really a matter of whether the sale -- and risk that you still might not get it -- is worth it to you.

I don't really know what a Black Friday is because we don't have it here. But I always prefer shopping during weekdays when it is not too crowded.

A Friday is a Friday to me. No special day about it whether it be good or bad. Just another day.
Besides, our shopping was completed months ago.

I went one year and that was enough. I went when the store opened( they were normally open 24 hours a day but on the day After Thanksgiving they opened at 6. We got the very last parking place. I had to work at 8. I got the one gift i was going to save so much on and my son took it back on "Boxing Day"
So anymore I give gift cards or cash. Depend on who I am giving it to.
My kids get cash that way they can go to the store I would not go to.
To my man friend I gave him the Card with a little something else to his favorite restaurant and another to his coffee shope that he frequents(they have one in his place of employmnent)of course it depends on how involved you are with the guy.

I am !!! It will be the first time ever too... I plan on waking up at 4 in the morning and hopefully getting some good deals.. Lots of friends and relatives are telling me its going to be crazy though... but I cant wait...
