If yes, how so? Do you care? Why? Why not?

I personally don't give a damn. What goes on in someone's mind doesn't affect me. I only care about those I care about or those selected few I want to impress. I'm asking this question because I see lots of answers ( to the Playboy magazine & a few other questions) indicating what goes on in someone's mind affects them and their behavior/choices accordingly. Just trying to understand it better.

Smile: what if you liked the person and it was someone you knew, would you care? And how so?

So nobody would feel objectified?

Diddy: thank for the clarification LOL...but I think we're all human with senses--some of us more sexual than others....beyond that, I don't really analyze to see who would be thinking what, unless I'm having thoughts about someone...then, I'd be curious to see if it's mutual.

i would only have a problem with it if they felt that their fantasies entitled them to try and act on them without my permission. Otherwise they can fantasize all they like. If they arent pushing it on me and expecting me to accomodate their imagtinings, then its none of my business.

If it is someone like my best friend, who's been in my life for almost 16 years or any of my other guy friends whom I've known for so long as my brothers, it would feel kind of incestuous... when I'm with them, I feel like one of the guys, for years it has not come to mind if they think of me sexually, though strangely, I was discussing this with someone a few days ago.

Other than that, no way! It's human nature, especially for men, I find it flattering actually, and can take some sexual humour as well, after all, sex is natural.
However, even though I don't mind being thought of in that manner nor being comical about sex, I make sure to evince my boundaries clearly, there are certain limits - discussing sex openly and/or joking about it does not imply that they're getting into my pants.

LOL. That is a naughty question, and it is deserving of a cute answer. So, here we go: I would take that secret knowledge for a compliment ( and have a few laughs with my girlfriends on a subject of how we can use it to our advantage). LOL

But on a serious note: most women pretty much know, when someone has a thing for them. We might play cat and mouse game with a guy, just to keep things interesting. However, a smart woman knows her priorities and keeps her affections where they belong: at home with her family.

Uhm, why should I care? It's not as if I've never had sexual fantasies about men I know or even that I've never acted on them. Sex is a basic human drive and nothing to be ashamed of or turn into some overly emotional power struggle. It feels good. Period.

Did it ever occur to you that gay men are more comfortable coming out because homosexuality is more accepted than it was 50 years ago, not that there's necessarily more gay men? That seems like a more reasonable explanation than the fact that women are driving straight men gay. LOL.

I would only be upset if I didn't know who they were or how they had decided that I was worthy of playing the lead role in those fantasies. If I knew the guy and would consider sleeping with him, I wouldn't mind at all.

I personally do care about the image that's projected from me because I do think its important. It would disturb me so much to know people I was not involved with was fantasizing about me. I think it would be impossible for it to not effect you because I think it would come out in some ways (even if they as just suttle) if you are around the person. If you are not, I think that would be even more disturbing to create sexual fantasies to people you do not know. Thoughts turn into feelings, feelings turn into emotions, emotions are almost inevitably acted on.

I usually wear a long hair-shirt when venturing outside to feed the chickens. During the big snows, I also wear an outer cloak of blackened, drying plantain peelings. However, if I fail to do so for some reason (such as, if I suspect a fox has made its way into the chicken-coop), and an itinerant peddler or other such happens to see me thus, I break wind loudly and immediately in order to prevent this from happening. At times, some of the chickens die.

Well, for what it's worth, while I have openly professed by attraction to you, I haven't indulged in sexual fantasies. I don't do that any more. So if such things did bother you - which they don't - you could rest easy.

Nevertheless, I could very easily imagine that quite a few men would do so - and probably do. I know that, were I at a different place, I certainly would.

EDIT

it's all good. Apparently, I crave a dominatrix (or so I have been told), so you and I would be a hopeless cause anyway.

Not unless it went beyond fantasy and into RL. Until then, I could care less.

Cheers :-)
