Why is inviting people to groups on facebook not working right?

Some people don't show up on the list and it keeps saying I have pending invites for people who I don't and it's terribly confusing.

some groups are closed on networks ... this person you're trying to invite ... is either on a different network or ... he hasn't joined any network yet ...

he must join the network to be able to be invited ... only then he will show on your pop up list ;)
