You know I would rather have pizza, Dalek....and some cornbread stuffing too, not cooked in the bird, but baked and crunchy on top! Perfect day!

When there became a separation between the church and state, the 'holy' day had already become an american tradition, as declared by President Lincoln in 1863. To be a day set aside to reflect on the goodness of God, to repent of our sins, and to be thankful for God's blesings in our lives. However, our schools were 'directed' to come up with a different 'theme' for thanksgiving. Thus we have the 'pilgrims and indians'. Ugh! Though there may be some truth to the 'thankfulness' of the 'so-called' mayflower 'sailors' and the 'natives', It was not the 'original' reason for celebrating the fourth Thursday in November.

Absolutely not !!!, War would have broken out immediately.
Apart from the fact I believe there were no Pizzas in them days.
The arguments over the toppings served would have become endless..bitter..unfriendly .
Settlers would be complaining bitterly about the absence of there favorite stuff , A Pemmican, cranberry sauce, ,
( Possibly ahorn Syrup ) and corn pizza would not have met
with general approval even if it had some turkey as well.
" What !!..No cheese, tomato sauce, mushrooms or pepperoni and so on !.....I want to talk to the chef....NOW !.

There is a well known theory called the "Domino's Theory" that supports this premise. However, few pizza delivery boys ever came by their teepees, and those that did tried to scalp them with higher prices.

I would enjoy Thanksgiving 3x more if they did that!
(not that Thanksgiving is bad, but leftover pizza is awesome, leftover turkey is just okay)

Pizza is so everyday boring food.
I like the gravy, the cranberry sauce, the squash, sweet potatos, etc... Love it! We should eat more turkey in this country.

No it would not. Since there would be no dishes to wash what would the women have done while the guys sat in the reclining covered wagons watching football (tomahawks and sling shots in them days) while burping and farting and giving "high fives".
