Most of the time people think that getting the next thing will bring hapiness into their lives. But that thing doesn't so you go onto the next thing and so on and so on.
You have to delve deep into yourself and find happiness within you - not things.
Reports have shown that the poorest people are the happiest. Not that it great to be poor, but they don't worry over "stuff." Only us rich Northern Hemispherics do.

I’m going through the same problem for the last 3/4 months. I was going through an endless depression. When the situation went intolerable, I said to myself that “enough is enough” I must have to figure a solution out. Then I started auto-suggesting myself. I tried to show myself the positive sides of life. I always tried to see the poor people struggling into their life & still keeping smile on their face. Then I told myself that I’m very lucky, I have almost everything in my life to be satisfied with. After doing all these things still depression didn’t stop attacking me. Finally, I tried to do something (which I like to do, like, listening music, talking to my dear persons, reading book, having a nap or playing video games) immediately after having the attack & its working. Though the pace is not that much, but I’m trying. You keep trying as well. I wish you all the best.
