what's something that i can do for my husband that's spontaneous and doesn't come from a chick flick.
in other words -what would you want a woman to do for you that's out of the ordinary of your daily routine?
oh and doesn't involve sex.. trust me we don't need help there.

Make him feel your sincere love. Be warm, kind, concern and caring, yet give him lots of space.

Be appreciative of him. Verbal thanks is good. Kisses and hugging make it better.

Make the home comfortable and warm for him to come home to.

But, if there is already a problem, go slow but move on surely. Communicate effective.

But, bear in mind that all these is easier said than done. Lots of patience is required. Reflect on the good past and see for has changed or what need to be changed now to regain the joy being together.

Best of luck. God be with you.

Pimp the car. Everyone love loud music and jumping cars. Well not everyone but that's spontaneous and it doesn't come from a chick flick.

For me, a nice note about how my wife values me and our relationship, a small gesture of helpfulness or thoughfulness, or something special - meal, dessert or other indulgence are all great things. It's not so much about doing something "over the top", as a regular appreciation for each other.

Give him a good back massage w/some warmed oils of some sort. This will probably lead to sex but when is that a bad thing?

i thing you should listen to him with your heart. you might think you really understand what he wants or what he needs but, you don't. just listen to him. my other suggestion is, you can cook for him as if there is any special event between you and him.. even there's none. well, some kind of special day/night for both of you. no need to wait for your anniversary to come to do that, anyway. well, i think you get the picture already. good luck!

take him to a local sporting event and sit through the entire thing with him

buy him a six-pack of beer, slab of ribs and hot wings, and give him about 3-4 hours freedom alone at home
