I am married to the most wonderful man in the world. Like your parents we only knew each other for 3 months;our friends gave us 6 months. Here we are 34 years later 2 kid,6 grandchildren and 1 on the way.We would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

I wouldn't change anything in our situation we were together and then three months later i got pregnant. We didn't want to get married so we eventually got married when our son turned one. We both felt that even if we were Christians we didn't want to rush into marriage just because we have a child. Fast forward almost 3 years of marriage we are very much in love with each other and expecting our second child!

If I were to do it over, I would wait until I was at least 30 before getting married. That way it would have given me a chance to get a second degree, save up some extra money and give me a chance to enjoy my 20s a bit more.

I would have no partied so much and yes, I would not have married my first wife.
But in hind sight, I did learn a great many valuable lessons through the experience of marriage and divorce. So ironically I am better off for having made the choice.
Good luck.

I waited 5 years and i still say i should have waited longer. I married young. I say don't even consider marriage until age 27.... then don't have kids until your 30s by then you should have lived enough for yourself to share your life with another person/people.

I would do it over. I waited 8 yrs to marry my honey and it was the best thing we could have done. We took that time to get to know each other and learn to appreciate our differences as well as our similarities.

umm...no, i would do it radically differently.
anybody who says they would do it exactly the same is a liar.
if i could go back in time i would run and jump in a lake instead of helping my future (ex)spouse carry a heavy package up the stairs. then she would have thought that I was a weirdo instead of a nice guy and my life would have been much simplier over the last 7 years.

One thing I learned (I got this from my exwife of all places lol) is to have no regrets. Every moment leads you to this one.
