You, like most people, will always have stress and, most likely, will always stress over work! It's totally normal!
How you handle it is the big thing!

Take your homework and break it down.

Make a pile for each subject/project.
Choose the hardest or most important one first.
Maybe the one that will benefit you the most.
Maybe you want to start on the easier ones first and get them out of the way.
Make that one a priority.

Take the rest, put it on a chair or something so that it is not "staring" you in the face...less stress when it's out of sight.

Now, get something light to snack on...and water...or non sugary drink. Sugar will make you tired in a short while...so will a heavy, carb meal. Try some veggies.

Find a comfortable (but not TOO comfy) of a place to work.
Get all your supplies ready and at hand...you won't leave your spot and forget to come back.

Turn off you cell and regular phone...tell yourself, "NO calls till I'm done...then it's a reward!"

Maybe turn on some background noise...a radio or t.v. (out of sight...so you don't watch it) and turn it to a chat show or something.
Or...earphones...whatever to help you focus.

Take a deep breath (I know it sounds dumb...but you need to focus and settle nerves)

Now start working brainstorming and working...soon you'll be ready to tackle the other projects!

Take a 10 minute break every hour or so.

Good luck!

What I do is I listen to music while doing my homework, it actually helps relieve the stress and I can't actually think more clearly and do work better if I listen to a song I like. I don't have an iPod or cellphone so I just listen to music on the computer because there is a table right by it. Also, take a little break every once in a while for a snack and a stretch, it'll help a lot, especially if you're getting tired. If you've been working a really long time, like more then three or so hours, give yourself a half hour break to do whatever, I don't recommend t.v. though. Maybe a board game with a sibling or something because it can be fun but still keeps your brain active. And to those people who say they didn't stress over because they didn't do it, that's just stupid, how can you possibly achieve any worthwhile goals in life if you never try to do anything for yourself, plus it actually puts more stress on you because you have to worry about what your teachers will say, your grades, and how those grades will affect your future. You're obviously not a slacker though, which is good. If you have good work habits now, and you keep those good work habits, you'll never have to struggle to get them back when you really need them. I can just imagine those people who don't do any homework when they have to get a job and live on their own. Good luck :0)

LOL at emaweee. I take breaks every once in a while when I have a lot. It helps. OR, I just do it all at once. It takes a while but you feel really good when it's done and have the rest of the day to do whatever.

Do it in a room with no T.V. and make it silent. It really does help you concentrate. When you have the T.V. on you're like concentrating on 2 things at once and it makes it harder and you'll usually be like "oh my favorite show, i'll start after this" and then you end up procrastinating :) good luck .

Just do one thing at a time. Start with the easiest or the one that you will get done the quickest. Save the hardest or the longest for last. Doing it this way it will feel like you are accomplishing more than if you start with the longest.
