basically the worst industrial accident to date, worse then chernobyl in deaths. Methyl isocyanate is bad stuff. Anything with the cyanide ion in it is usually deadly

I've heard about it and read about it. It happened in 1984, caused children to be deformed, killed thousands almost immediately, and possibly over 1,000,000 in the aftermath. It was a Union Carbide plant, now owned by Dow, and they have never paid more than a few hundred dollars for each family that suffered the loss of a loved one.
The million was a liberal estimate of possible deaths as an indirect result of the Bhopal incident, which I believe came from a 2002 or 2003 article in Adbusters magazine.

area classes are a great way for coming up international places to accentuate their technological know-how base and make their nuclear missiles intercontinental. verify out iran firing off adverse rats in to area in 2010. the bhopal disaster replaced into brought about with the aid of a subsidiary of an american corporation making fly spray there. Britain rightly would not provide India any reimbursement for the disaster as that's no longer something to do with us..

yes heard of it, but not as much detail as Anthony Speirs said. Just that it was a chemical spill in India in which 100s of 1000s of people were affected and thousands died.

Yep. And I think everyone would know about it if it had an affect on western country. But no one here cares much for places like India or China.

I remember hearing about it on the news, and how the cloud of chemicals engulfed entire neighborhoods, and killed everyone inside the houses. Very bad stuff.
