windows XP hung up with www.protectionway.com. How does one remove this?

can delete http/www.protectionway.com and enter www.yahoo.com to access internet. But didn't have darn protectionway.com in my way.

1) use ccleaner first (cleaner and issues menus)

that should change the home page of your browser back to what it was

looks like adware changing ur hosts file.

go into your setting and delete it and you might need to run your restore dishs that fix it i have the same computer as well . ?
