I wanna know about the Campus life, diversity, housing and what side of town its on. Does the City busses run in this area, i would really appresheate it. Thanks in advance

Yes, buses run there--there is a huge bus facility in the front of the campus. Its one of the larger, urban State Universities with a very diverse population & many majors. I went there for grad school and was quite happy with the quality of education, the diversity of classes, and the students.

I was there recently for an interview. The good is that I get the feeling that the faculty really do care about their students, and they want to help their students succeed. The population is pretty diverse. The bad (at least for some people) is that like most urban CSUs, it is largely a commuter campus, which means that campus life is not as active as it might be at some campuses. It is located just northeast of downtown, in East L.A. near Monterey Park. Sorry, I can't tell you much about the housing or buses.
