They gave the Bills two chances to stop them on 4th down, which was the most honorable thing they could do.
If they kicked easy field goals on those 4ths, they'd be running up the score without giving the Bills a chance to stop them.
If they took a knee on those 4th downs, they'd be insulting the Bills by basically saying they didn't think the Bills could stop them, so they were giving them a "mercy knee."
So they went for it on two 4th downs to give the Bills a chance to shut them down. And Buffalo couldn't do it. So they punt on the 30 near the end of the game to help them save face. Yeah, they could probably get a FG from there, but it's not absurd to punt and it helps the Bills retain some self respect.
It was the sportsmanlike thing to do.

Yeah, a lot of people can't stand a team who Really dominates on the field with such a grade of performance.
Good for them, the rest of the teams should be as well strongers and competitives so they can talk about how great their teams are instead of crying like girls and talking about the NE Patriots, that is almost sure they'll get another ring this year.

They're trying to give Hanson a chance at the record books, too.
He has a pretty respectable yards-per-punt average this season, but he hasn't punted enough times to qualify.

They did it to solidify the fact that they are *******. Funny...they run up the score...ridiculously...going for it on 4 n 1...twice...and then...they punt on the Bills 30 to humiliate them.
That's the only reason they did it....and just another reason for me to hate those fools.
I'm not a Bills fan, but I hate everything about The Patriots. Not because they win, but because they just seem hateful and ugly. I hate Tom Brady's face.

That's hilarious. I'd love to see them punt from inside the 10. Talk about humiliating! I'd rather lose by 100 pts than have my opponent patronize me like that.

I must have missed that part. But maybe their offense needed a break haha...
Anyway, I think the Pats are getting a little cocky,
and personally I can't blame them too much :P
Does anyone here think they will go undefeated?

The Pats don't want to be accused of "running up the score."
