How do we stop getting "addicted" to these types or other types of games?

1. The game play has to be addictive. It must be fun and gives people options to do different things. All those games are fun to play.

2. It has to have a great storyline. All those games get you involved. It's like you become a part of the game.

3. It has to have dead on controls. Nothing worse than having lags between when you press the button and when you see it happens. It has to be also simultaneous.

4. Great graphics doesn't hurt.

You stop being addicted to those games by moderation. Set a limit on what you want to do or how many hours you play and once you do it, it's time to walk away for the day.

For me, the gameplay, graphics and most of all, the story is what makes me addicted to a game. Online gameplay isn't needed for me to get addicted.

There's really no way to stop getting addicted to the games unless you just stop playing games for good, and for me, that will never happen. I'm playing video games until I die and that's about it for me.
