why do a lot of people seem like they dont even have a heart anymore?

We are a world more and more dedicated to finding our own personal happiness and a conscience hurts us so we turn it off (or at least turn it down).

Well American society is becoming more secular. And some people think that it's wrong to make judgments on other people's personal decisions. It seems like more people are becoming self centered, just not caring any more about other people's feelings or their place in life.
