I already started looking for a job but i'm scared it might take a while since i havent work in nine years . My friend told me that the state might stop my son S.S.I. payments, that in the state of ILL you are not allow to receive child support and S.S.I. payments. If any one lives in ILL and receive child support payments and S.S.I. could you please let me how this would effect my son check?

You wont be able to recieve full child support and SSI payments for the SAME child. But you should be able to get child support for the other children, and SSI for the disabled one. If he does pay support for the disabled one too the payments will be reduced

you dont pay for ssi,ssi is paying the child, not you husband, your child recieves aid from the state for being disabled, child support is something completely different.
