There is nothing wrong with a present for someone that you like.
A simple black scarf and had/mitten set or a homemade gift of cookies/pie if she doesn't bake.
It is a nice thing for you to do, you could ask your boyfriend what her favorite snack is or what color her coat is to give you some ideas.

Find out somethings that she enjoys from your boyfriend like her interests, hobbies, needs. Afterwards, Think of something relating to the thing to give her.
As for pastries, I would also ask your boyfriend some of the deserts she might enjoy, and make it for her.

Be careful of the pie.. she might have dietary issues that you don't know about. And be cautious of flowers too - if they smell too much, she might be allergic to them. How about a nice green houseplant with small pretty color flowers that don't smell too much.

Buy her a small potted plant and/or with pretty flowers or just an unusual plant she can enjoy all year. They can be bought at most grocery stores.
