why are so many people around my age (15) having underage sex?!
what's changed in todays world that has led to this?

I feel like it's because parents don't pay enough attention to their kids. My mom thinks that it's because sex is to idolized in the media and because birth control gives people false hopes. Like "oh if I take birth control I won't get pregnant", which in all actuality it's VERY possible.
I think so teens do it because they think that everyone else is "doing it". The fact is that they're not. I got that bit of advice my sophomore year in high school from my brother. As I went through high school I found that he was right. The ones that are really having sex don't talk about it to a lot of people, just a few close friends. Or they have sex because they think that it's "uncool" to reach 20 and still be a virgin. . FYI. ... that's not true. No one cares that you're a virgin, a lot of people find it wonderful if they have an opinion on it at all.
A lot of young people 15 & below, 16, and some 17 year olds really don't get the things that sex brings with it. We all know that sex equals a baby but I don't think anyone thinks that it could happen to them until it does. But people don't realize that virginity is HUGE thing and it shouldn't be wasted. It should be given to the person you're in love with, preferably the one that you are married to or intend to marry. Sex can bring emotional, physical, and mental issues. In high school that relationship that lasts longer then a month is considered true love and everyone wants to believe that it's forever. . . unfortunately it rarely is. Sex is a very emotional thing, at least to me. I waited to give my virginity to the man I'm going to marry in a few short months and he waited for me. We've shared a pleasure that all of my friends who have had many sexual partners have never experienced.

Life of today is all about sex ...in schools , music industry , magazines say without sex or sexy pictures .. mag cant sell same as Movies .Even work places now are full of it so looking at all this ...young one s too get to see , magazines , movies , music video 's and so it adds up for them to wanna try to do it in real and thats what it is a world of today ...
sex is speaking louder than words or education and of course no age whatso ever limitation 's...(undercovers)

They aren't old enough to have adult sex.
Nothing has changed. Before laws defined a minor, sex was a common thing between people of all ages.

It's in rap music, rock music, on television and in the media. It's in music videos and it's also in schools. Teens are pressured into having sex by their classmates, boyfriends and society. The USA refuses to see girls as adults as soon as they get their first period and let them get married so they are taken care of and are provided for all their lives.

its because sex is one of the only things the government cant tax or crack down on, sure they can raise the age to buy fags, they can force you to have ID when you buy booze, they can crack down on drugs but they cannot get in your bedroom
