Is what you're seeing "fuzzy"? In not, it wouldn't be fungus.
If this is something fuzzy and you've tried treating with fungal medications without success, it may not be fungal, but a bacterial problem. Columnaris (also called cotton mouth, or cotton wool disease) looks similar to a fungus, but you can tell them apart. A fungal infection will have a more irregular edge, and the individual filaments will be long, and relatively straight, so you should be able to follow them most of the way to their base (see photo: http://www.uib.no/bot/kurs/BB220/Algae/Figures/fish.jpg ). If this is Columnaris, the infection is usually circular, and with shorter filaments that are matted together: http://www.fishjunkies.com/images/Columnaris2.jpg
If the spots aren't fuzzy, but indented, this is hole-in-the-head, (also called head and lateral line erosion): http://www.jbl.de/img_med/spirohexol_dis_k.jpg This is linked to the parasite Hexamita, as well as dietary problems.
See the link below for more on each of these, including suggested treatments.

They need to have salt in the water ... put them into a 'smaller' container and add 1/2 teaspoon of salt per gallon of water and leave them in that for a day, then completely change the water and give them another dose. Do this again in a week, and do that every week until the fish are better. While the fish are being 'dosed' with salt water, change the 90 gallon tank completely.

It sounds like you are seeing signs of HITH (Hole In The Head). It is a disease that is common with Oscars and some other cichlids. Below are some links that have pics that you can compare to your Oscars to see if this is what they have.
Great link, if your Oscars have HITH, follow the steps here and you should be able to get rid of it.
