Sounds like you are constipated and that's very normal in pregnancy. Try a stool softener, drink more water and add some fiber to your diet.

I try to each fresh fruits or veggies each day and have a whole grain cereal or bread in the morning.

The thumps you are feeling are baby movements! They get stronger and more noticeable as the weeks go by. They change from flutters and bubbles to kicks and nudges.

It sounds like you are 21 weeks pregnant!! I'm 20 weeks and going through the same things. I have resorted to putting a lot more fruit into my diet and that helps to go #2. The thumps are certainly baby movements and sometimes you'll be too busy to notice them but they are still there. If you get too concerned about not feeling any movement drink something sugary (fruit juice, soda, Gatorade), and lay down in a quiet room, you should feel some kind of movement after a few minutes but if you don't then just try later. Don't get too concerned unless you consciously don't feel any movement in 24 hours and you have checked every few hours or so. It's still early yet to constantly monitor fetal movement so don't sweat it.
You should be just fine! Good luck and congrats!!

First of all, those quick thumps you were feeling last night were hiccups! Your baby is practicing breathing (in an underwater sort of way). Second, not being able to go #2 especially during pregnancy is normal- try some prune juice, or check with your doctor for an over the counter, (safe for pregnancy) stool softener, for the constipation- and whatever you do, try not to strain. It will cause you to get hemorrhoids. Good luck with your pregnancy! And don't worry, it's highly unlikely that you've done anything to harm your baby. All these things your feeling are completely normal in pregnancy! Enjoy the next few months! Your new baby will be here before you know it! : )

You can ask your doctor if any bowel softeners or laxatives are ok but I'm pretty sure most or all are a no no on the pregnancy list. I'd go with the simple options, things that normally seem to make you go. Maybe certain kinds of fruits or juices? If it comes down to it, it would be worth it to drink some prune juice. Its going to get more and more uncomfortable the longer it takes you to be able to go. Just relax. :) Good luck!!

Constipation is common in pregnancy. Introduce more fiber into your diet (slowly-because too much could clog you up also), like raisin bran, or drink some V8, try to avoid drinking too much milk because it digests really slow. Drink plenty of water and lay on your left side, it helps your bowels move. You should be able to "drop your kids off at the pool" in no time. Constipation doesn't hurt the baby by the way. Maybe the thumping is the baby hiccuping or moving?. Good luck.

as a replace of searching for an optometrist at here you ought to to flow on your interior sight optometrist. He would clearly provide you a ordinary eye examination and flow from there on what would desire to be executed next no depend if that is Lasik, eyeglasses, contacts, and so forth. i'm uncertain in case you do rigidity yet at 21 maximum folk do and you may desire to be endangering your life as properly as different working a automobile once you could not see 4 yards faraway from an merchandise. it rather is greater useful to maximum appropriate a challenge once you first observe it than to enable it progressively worsen and specific finally end up going blind. I am 19=wks and had this problem for the first 14 weeks of my pregnancy - i found that concentrated prune juice 2 times a day helped - so does metamucil which my dr recommended - the thumping sounds like your baby moving around!!!

I had that problem from taking the prenatal vitamins, they also made me nautious. So started by breaking the pills in half, and taking half in the morning, and the other half at night. I also made sure to eat tons of fruit (not bananas) and drink juice.. and it helped. The thumps are most likely your baby, but if you are really worried, the best thing you can do to ease your mind is talk to your doctor. When I was preggo, that was the only thing that made me feel better if I was worried about something.

I am only 8 weeks and have been constipated since day 1! It's very common in pregnancy and is most likely caused by the Iron in the prenatal vitamins you are taking. Take a stool softener every day. They work wonders! Good luck.
