When you are backing out of a parking spot do you back all the way so you are parallel with driving or just enough to miss hitting the other car and turn into the driving lane? Mrs. Feetie always backs alll the way out and then straightens out the wheel and goes! I do the second!

I put it in reverse, look behind and on the sides of me. I don't use my rearveiw, I actually turn and look. Then I slowly back out and then start using my rearview when there is no threat and go on my way.
One day, I was going to back out and this car just goes FLYING by in the parking lot, no care in the world for people in or out of cars. If I would have just backed out without being cautious, my car would have gotten a number done to it.

We study and get tests for a reason, sometimes I wish everybody would have to wait like 4-8 years and then get tested again. If they fail, they have a week or two to get in check and then if they fail again, they get it taken away. Too many aaccidents from people who forget to do the minor things, which can save alot of lives and stress.
