Established in 1994 as a joint project of the Institute for the Study of Civic Values and the Center for Civic Networking, civic-values supports an ongoing national--even international--dialogue on public issues, especially as they relate to the basic principles of American democracy.YES, equality is a civic value.Civic Value is basically an element that is becoming extinct from the rate of technology. That element is, "The Human" element. Yes, machines will always need man to make sure they are preforming as needed, for now. We are quickly getting to the point that the machines/technology notify man when they aren't preforming. Like you most cars we drive will have an indicator light come on when the vehicle senses it needs to be looked at by man, low fuel, check battery, oil light. Even the computers wer have can run their own diagnosis, they just can't run out to pick up the parts necessary to complete the job; Yet.
