Frusrating isn't it?? I have followed some of your answers lately, especially the ones about the McCanns, and the "perculiar" person. is "it" the pits, or what?
I believe people are entitled to their views, but when it comes down to sheer spite, and making fun of the situation,it stinks.I constantly get the thumbs down for believing that the McCanns, although guilty of child neglect, did NOT kill their daughter. We may never find out what really happened that night, but whatever my views are, they don't count on here anyway.

That's a writer's block if I ever saw one. Of course some reader, somewhere, will inevitably think that. There are still some whom it does make a difference too. That's your audience. The golden ones. Write to them. All the others can go screw themselves, and probably will. Even if YOU think it will make no difference---do it anyway. It might not make a difference but it will keep you different. In short, --you will still be a writer; and that's no small thing.

Sadly I feel that is true. Its like when youre trying to make a difference in your community and feel like you are 'banging your head against a proverbial brick wall'
None of what we say, or who we vote for will make the tiniest scrap of difference. Things will remain the same for allways!
The politicians will carry on regardless of what we who put them there want, and will continue to 'do for themselves'
I too hate the 'thumbies' but I feel they are given to us for breathing in here. Ttly senseless!

Yes but remember changes are slow and maybe our grand kids might see what we have asked to be changed.

Whatever the issue, i do believe that it does matter what one says.
The process of change is slow...and like they say no one likes change except a wet baby...!
So don't lose heart, Michael W & keep those wise & whacky posts comin'...! If people as wise & compassionate as you stopped speaking...now THAT would be catastrophe...!
