Saying sorry is one of the easiest cop outs ever... though I am not saying that your apology is a waste or anything. it is cool. BUT... if you really want to show that you are apologetic for your attitude towards homosexuality, don't just say so in an answer thread... show it. Do something that will cement what you are saying... but not so I or anyone else can see it... Do it for you...

If you right your wrongs by telling others who make homophobic comments online and in real life that they are wrong, apology accepted.

Congrats and I accept your apology. it's good to be an ally. I'm one. The best thing you can do is to continue to defend the GLBT community and stand up against others who make those types of remarks you used to make. Explain to them that you used to be that way too and then tell them what changed your mind.

Thank you for the apoligy, and iam glad that you are growing as a person. People are people, we are all a little different and we need to accept the differences and love one another.

If it is as sincere an apology as it sounds...then yes...you are forgiven. Try to make it a point of when around people making fun, that you stand up and say something about them being wrong. Congrats on converting your mind! :-)

Actions speak louder than words. Speak up for us to others who believed as you once did. Then you will have not only our acceptance but our utmost respect and gratitude.
