I had a samsung phone and put a micro sd memory card in it, when i bought a new phone i took the micro sd card and just stored it somewhere, now after about a month i put it back into the phone and into a card reader and none of them can read it...is it damaged or did it lose its contents?

If the card is removed from any power source for long enough, it can lose any data. It should take more than a month for that to happen. Are you sure you didn't damage the card when you removed it from the phone? My cell phone recommends powering off the phone before inserting or removing a memory card.

Damaged loss of contents can't explain the reason it wasn't read
