I dress better than 99 percent of people, let alone women, at my school. Would this be a turnoff? I dont go to college in a suit, but a nice blazer, jeans, shirt (polo, collared, t shirt watever) scarf and if cold, an overcoat or peacoat. Nice sneakers (common projects). and im not bragging, but on any given day, my outfit would probably go for 2-3 grand. Is that excessive and a turnoff? Im not metro, its just i like fashion.

to the person who said about price, its not like i have 20 different thousand dollar coats, but yea, i have like 2 or 3 winter coats, which can be quite costly. its not like i dress up, i think its odd that a blazer and jeans is too dressy. if anything, i think thats quite casual.

i like it when people can make their own style from second hand stores. i dont think its gross, its just im in a fortunate position of not having to go to second hand stores.

lets not get into what i drove in highschool, itd embarass ur car. ill leave it at that. mayb we can both flaunt our wealth together? ahahhaahha. ill stop. and yea, i dont htink its that excessive to spend money on nice clothes, especially if its made properly. i could definitely see y one would spend 500 dollars on a cashmere sweater made in italy but i cant justify spending 100 dollars on a sweatshirt made in china with a big logo on it.

No. I like it when guys dress nice and know the difference between cashmere and cotton. The turnoff woulde be talking about how much your clothes cost.

What?? 2-3 grand on an outfit? That's......
wow.

My 17-year-old friends have the same nice style, which I think is very attractive, but they make a point of saving their money, shopping at second hand stores. I guess it's part of the scene, but I love it.

If you think thrift shops are gross, which I bet you do, you don't have to shop there. Bu hearing you spend 2-3 grand on a single outfit makes me want to strangle you. Put your money to better use!

It defenitly sounds like you are full of yourself. If you come from a rich family I doubt that they would allow you to go to school with low-lifes like you describe. I have a real problem with a 2-3 grand outfit and then posting on answers. It actually sounds like the only turn off is really your personality.pp

you can make a blazer look casual just wear it with jeans [dark washed is more formal, light wash is laid back]
you can wear the blazer with a regular tee shirt or a graphic tee shirt
a polo or collared would look like your trying to hard
and you can just wear it with converses or what kind of sneakers for that less formal look

btw you shouldnt wear a blazer every day.

I think that would look great on a guy, but not for school. Just try to loosen it up a little bit.
