And your partner tells you that before they can get any more emotionally attached to you, they want to do a background check on you.
Would you allow them to do so?
Would you feel your privacy was invaded?
Would this be a reason to break off your relationship with them?

properly, i'm going to tell you my experience. i'm sixteen now and that i merely broke up with my boyfriend of two years this January. each physique thinks they are going to marry their previous flame. We have been very intense, making plans to get married and all. issues have been staggering, then they have been ok and next they have been merely lame. To be common, i think of in case you the two love one yet another then sure, be as intense as you like! If human beings doubt you, that's ok. i comprehend numerous individuals who married their intense college sweethearts. i'd merely desire to point you to not have intercourse (in case you have not already) in the different case you will would desire to get intense or be an asshole. in case you do not waft aside, then i'm better than happy for you. issues will take place clearly, merely bear in concepts that long term relationships take countless attempt and while the time comes for issues to end, do not drag it out for 6 months. i'm hoping issues flow properly for you :)

Hell in this day and age, I wouldn't mind. But then I have nothing to hide either. I do at least a google and sex offender search on my date's names to see if anything comes up. It's just looking out for yourself cause there are a lot of weirdos around these days...

I have nothing to hide, so I would say go right ahead, however that is a very strange request from your partner. I think you should find out why they feel the need to do that.

um, yes I would be extremely offended. I would be asking myself if this person trusts me at all!! I would break it off, it is obvious that he isn't trusting me even when I haven't done anything wrong. If we go further is he going to start asking me for a urine sample so he can do a drug test monthly? That is a totally inappropriate and a very weird thing to ask.

Just make sure you do a back ground check on him. Maybe he's trying a diversion tactic. He could be hiding something.

I have nothing to hide, but would not consent to that. Shows he's a control freak. Tell him to jump in a lake.

I don't have a record so I wouldn't care. It could be they have a job where dating someone with a record is a liability, or the could have been screwed over before.
