In a short time, I have perfected the idea of everything is on a need to know basis and I don't need to know. Has worked great for me for almost 55yrs and see no reason to change things now.

It does not relate to any part of me, because I find ignorance unacceptable and quite revolting. Ignorance is NOT bliss - it is dangerous!! Ignorance also breeds stupidity - another of the choices people make that just does not make sense.

Ignorance may be bliss, but knowledge is golden.
For example, would you want to know if your boyfreind is cheating on you, I douth you say 'no', because this knowledge, although it causes greif, it also help you plan the next move in your life.

I had breast cancer at the age of 16, so life was definetely short for me, and I did things I would have never thought I would do. I made the most out of what I thought I had left of my life.

ignorance is always bad i think. id rather know and be in severe emotional pain, than not know and be considered a fool. i guess it serves a purpose though. many people probably couldnt handle the truth- i guess im not positive i could.

It relates to me only in its absence. I took too big a bite from the apple of knowledge and all it did was make me sick...

It's a convenient way to stick my head in the sand on issues I don't really WANT to know about. Not good.
