I am very upset with Bush over his stand on immigration.
We defend him because so many liberals and Democrats attack him, viciously and without merit. Never before has a sitting president witnessed such malicious attacks.

What you see on here is the radicals from both sides. The ones that will support party lines because of one issue. I think the majority of us are more moderate than that. I usually vote Deomcratic but in a lot of instances they are way too liberal for me.

Fear. Neo-cons are worse because they ostracize anyone who does not agree with all neo-agendas.
I mean neo-cons go on TV and destroy neo-cons that think differently on any issue.
As to your question, party supporters are too afraid and too brainwashed to think beyond the commands of their political machines. They are taught to hate those "other" Americans. Even in their language you here the words "us" "we" and "them" as though they are speaking of someone from another galaxy.
THEY, party loyalists, are the problem, for THEY empower crooked politicians in hopes of obtaining a few crumbs off of the table that belongs to the people in the first place.
