I found the "apology" in the Answers Blog. They state that if you didn't receive a satisfactory response to your protest of a violation notice you got that you can resend the protest. I just resent my protest. We'll see what happens...

My "violation" was: in the wrestling section, there used to be a lot of "user tournaments" (who among these users would win if they were in a wrestling tournament?) conducted by a sort of clique, composed of about a dozen or so regulars (who were the names of users in these tournaments). Most of us don't care about the tournaments and don't answer these "questions". The tournaments were getting out of hand -- too many going on and question after question asked about them. The rest of us got tired of it and started posting our feelings about the tournaments. This is the only "answer" I ever gave about these tournaments: "I'm never in these things, either. I don't care...". My response was similar to about ten other responses to that same "question". Anyway, I got a "violation notice" for it.

This is the only "violation notice" I've ever received. Also, the "user tournaments" disappeared from the wrestling section.

I can't image they would apologize for a mistake...they sent me two violation notices in the past week for questions I answers where the questions were in violation, but my answers were not...

I replied to them with very stern e-mails

I don't know where this apology is--I would like to see it

I don't know about this apology, but I can assume what you're talking about. Why would someone be sent a violation if you didn't violate? Can you give us an example or something?

Ya, I asked a question about where I could get free astrology newletters, and they deleted the question! I was like, okay then.

No, I didn't read that but that's interesting. They really need to work on this issue.
