Bizarre how? I ask because in Hawaii, people of Hawaiian ancestry name their children Hawaiian names ... nothing bizarre about that. What about people from Asia? Or from Europe? Or even India or the Middle Eastern countries? Are their cultural names bizarre? No - just not the norm for the people from the lower 48 USA.

That said - the Zappa kids have some interesting names. Dweezil, Moon Unit. Or the Skier - Picabo (peek-a-boo) Street. Bruce Willis & Demi Moore's girls - Rumer Glen, Scout LaRue and Tallulah Belle. Ambrosia, Paris, Abcde (ab-ci-dee). Strange in my opinion ... But ...

None bizarre exactly, just interesting and out of the norm.
Best Wishes.

Tapioca. I'm serious - how cruel is that?! I've also heard of babies named Envy, Pretty, Elegance and Graceful. What happens when Envy is a complete failure without a single envious quality, Pretty looks like a dog, elegance has the manners of an ogre and Graceful has two left feet? When I see names like those, I often wonder if the parents would rather that their daughter grew up to be a stripper than a congresswoman.

Well, the one that is circulating around now as being popular that I hate is Prudence.

I have also seen a bad spelling that of course made me giggle, it was an older woman though, and I think they spelled it the way the say it in the south. Her name was Virginia, but it was spelled Vaginia.

Most of the names that are bizarre are because they are from other cultures. They probably think that names like Hayden or Melanie are bizarre in their culture.

I went to school with 3 sisters and a brother named Pearl, Denim, Lace and Cotton.

Denim and Lace were twins in my grade. They went by Demi and Lacey though.
If Cotton had been a girl, he would have been named Diamond.
