I have an appointment tomorrow and so far they have been two weeks apart.

I am 35 weeks and 3 days =) I start going weekly at 36 weeks!

I have never had weekly appts.
So long as the pregnancy is low risk, as mine have been, my doctor does not make you come down and wait in her office for a 2 min appt on a weekly basis.
Depends on your doctor.
Quite frankly, I'm glad my doc does this...:)

The last month they see you weekly, so yes probably.
