If they're a good observer--but it does place them at a disadvantage right from the start.

It can still be done though.

Anyone can write anything. Whether it be on purpose or an experience they had went through. Poetry and book etc are from people who have had these experiences and gotten through them. reading this stuff is what makes the unknown more familiar with dealing with there situations. Poetry and books don't and aren't always having to be dealing with love or things. but reading them keep the reader more interested. so of course you can write a love song without really knowing what love is.. Maybe the person writing the poem or story about love is just hoping that it is as wonderful as they wrote it to be!

You don't have to be a poet to understand poetry or a musician to understand music. But if you have writing or musical talent, you'd probably need some knowledge of love in order to write or compose really good poems, novels or songs about it.

Yes you can, cos I write love stories even though I have absolutely no idea what this whole process is about.

I have my own definition of what love is and I stick to my point and spread the fsct to make it more interesting.

Try observing daily life, just sit down in the bus stop or play ground and see what are they doing. You'll be surprised about the results,

Try doing weird stuff like being blindfolded the whole day and write about your experience. Use appropeiate facts in your creation

Good Luck

The Key lies in the writers powers of observation!
Yes indeed, if a writer can express the extraordinary pains of a woman in child labour, If he can paint the picture in such a way that we shares in the woman's trauma, then yes, a writer can very well aptly describe love if his powers of observation and the ability to dream and create are active!

Wow exciting question. properly shall we see.. Then something annoying your nerves (smth like ghost memories) then all the unexpected adventure looks frightening. each and every person is afraid of uncertainty, so do I. something like darkness, places there each and every person isn't hassle-unfastened, issues that are above our information are dreadful. good success including your novel!!^ _ ^

Sure, but it might end up being more about idealizing or longing than the experience of love.
