In Texas, if a person has established residence at your house i.e. has any personal belongings there, you will have to formally evict him if he refused to leave on his own.

It depends on how long you've allowed them to stay there. If it has been less than a day, you can call the cops & have them removed. If they have their belongings there (and have stayed 24 or more hours), then you must get a court order to evict them.

Go somewhere else safe and call the cops and ask them to remove the person. It doesn't matter how long they've stayed there.
