I have tried SO many space heaters:

- Ceramic Tower
- Electric Stove/Fireplace
- Oil-Filled Radiator
- Stanley Ceramic Heater/Blower
- Honeywell Utility Heater
- Radiant Light Heater
- and NOW a micathermic heater

nothing is working! I'm trying to supplement my electric baseboard heat, which heats the entire common area of my apartment, by trying to heat only the area that i'm sitting in.... what should I do?? What else should I try?

If you are sitting at a desk you can get one of those under-desk flat panel heaters. They keep your legs warm and that keeps you from getting too chilly.

If you want to warm up the whole room or your place in it I am surprised none of those you tried worked for you. Typically a radiant heater will keep you warm without heating all of the air in the room so it is economical.

i don't understand the place you're, yet right here interior the country, any enormous field ironmongery shop could have a super variety. the main inexpensive ones haven't any thermostat, yet 3 fastened settings, fan in straightforward terms, low (750 watts) and intense (1500 watts). fee stages from approximately $20 and up. The 2nd lowest fashions have a thermostat so which you will set a temperature and the heater will cycle on and stale to maintain the putting. those start up at approximately $25 and up. the ingredient is, maximum all would be limited to 1500 watts. This score relies on the limitations imposed on the wiring in rooms in properties. those warmers will save a closed room 10x10 ft quite soft. I also have a small heater like this in my storage for freeze secure practices in iciness. My storage is unheated. I changed the thermostat so it is desperate for greater or less 38 ranges F. the backside putting initially were 60 ranges F. besides, all you like do is bypass to a ironmongery shop or a house and backyard keep, and then save around for one that fits your needs. another source includes techniques, thrift shops. we've quite a few charity donation shops that resell donated products. they might have used warmers that should greater healthful what you like.
