And I came over to borrow some flour, then some eggs, then some sugar, brown and regular and then some butter and last but maybe not least some chocolate chips. Then when you went near my door, you could smell cookies baking. Would you confront me saying those cookies were rightfully yours?

No but I might ask to try one. I would also be glad to let you have the flour, etc. because we always have it on hand. My hubby is the baker.

No because you borrowed the ingredients. You didn't steal them. I gave them to you out of the goodness of my heart. I wouldn't even ask you to pay me back. All I would hope is that someday when I needed something - you would be more than happy to give it to me.
