We was a champion for consumer protection ... very intelligent ... exposed many bad things about corporate America in the 1960's that the people were unaware of. He hails from Winsted, CT. That's a pretty rural backward place for such an innovative thinker to come from. I always thought that was ironic. That goes to show you ...

I like him but, don't think that he'd have made a good president. Sad to say, he's too good of a human being. Presidents have to often make unpopular decisions which are good for the people ... even if they don't like it. I don't think that Ralph could do that.

he made his fame going after the big bad general motors
he claimed the corvair was unsafe and did so with half-truths and mis-quoted statistics. GM had already changed what they saw as a problem with the rear suspension before Nader ever got involved but that did not stop him. he has done the same thing his entire life with the "American people" as his cause. he likes the publicity and does not care about accuracy.
NO he would not have been a good president but then we did not get one anyway.

No. Part of being a leader is salesmanship. Although it was good to have a 3rd option who did shed light on some things, a leader has to have the ability to sell him or herself to the nation AND the world.

No. The Corvair was a fantastic vehicle. Even might be considered 'green' in our times.

No.. I think he came in during the last election at a critical time in this country and pretty much aided our inevitable downfall.

i think he can best serve the political arena by staying out of it except to throw whatever support he has to his favorite republican, of course. lol

He is too narrow in his scope of things.
That being said, however, he probably would have been better than the loser we got last time and the time before
