I like the name James. My brothers name is James Nathan and he's named after my grandfather James Eugene and if I have a boy I'm carrying on the name and naming him James Marshall Allen.

It would be an alright name if there is nobody in your or your spouse's, boy/girlfriend's family, etc. It seems to me that fathers often enough, want to name thier sons after himself, in some form, where he might want to name the baby his own first name, or have the baby have his middle name, etc. And I would think that it would be kind of confusing, if father and son have the same name, but there would be nothing wrong with if you do find a name for a boy baby, if it is a very rare name.

I know some one named James, and he's a total jerk. And James is still a nice name as long as the James does not have a pig nose, double chin, and beady little eyes. :)

It really depends on the middle name....names like James, Edward, Issac CAN be strong if they are paired with a good middle name....Like: James London....or Issac Tyler.....the right combo makes the name pop....

My dad's name is James, they call him Jim or Jimmy
My brother's name is James, they call him Jamie or Jimmy
I don't like the name. It is boring and old fashioned.
It's like John, common old name. Does nothing but bore me.
sorry.
