Some people on here will never admit that the Mcaans are innocent. As I am not God I just do not know 100% that they are innocent or quilty. What I do know is there seems to me that there is no proof either way so until that proof is proved I will and always will give them the benefit of the doubt

As an American watching this all from afar .. (the McCanns get very little press here, but we certainly remember Susan Smith...) I do find it interesting that these two parents frequented that tapas bar several nights in a row on vacation... each time abandoning their children.. and each time knocking back several bottles of wine.
Is it not even a little plausible that some sinister person would notice these negligent parents with their keen appetite for liquor... and that same someone might have decided how easy it would be to kidnap a child when parents are so lax? These two people should never have brought children into the world... but unfortunately, there is no test for common sense for parents.
As for Susan Smith... it was police psychologists who repeatedly studied her crying fits , eye movement, and body posture and determined she was lying.

I agree. Look at Ian Huntley. He cried on TV and pleaded for Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman to come home, when all along it was him who had done it. When a child is murdered by someone they know, more often than not the murder has been committed by one of those who was crying their eyes out, not someone who sits quietly in the background, and I think it's because the murderer wants to try and fool the public that they have nothing to do with it. We don't know anything about the McCanns at the end of the day, we don't know if they are innocent or guilty, and we can't judge them based on their emotions. When my grandad and uncle died, I didn't cry, but it didn't mean that I didn't love them or miss them any less than everyone else. People just have different ways of dealing with things, and sometimes that involves no outward show of emotion, but that doesn't mean that they aren't ripped apart inside.

Before anybody judges anyone in this case via the media, I strongly suggest everyone re-watch evil angels (aka - a cry in the dark) .. the story of Lindy Chamberlain and her family, in almost the same circumstances. She didn't cry either. After two major court cases, and one royal commision into the whole sorry mess, she was pardoned and given a million dollars in compensation for false imprisonment.
Australia will never live down that injustice.
Wait until all the facts are in before you pass judgement and let there be true justice where ever the chips may fall. Don't fall into the trap of trial by media. It brings us all down a peg or 10.

Not really. That woman cracked after 9 days. Kate McCann deserves an oscar if she does turn out to have done it.

Some people think that if you dont act in a particular way then you are automatically guilty. It is not worth asking sensible questions like your one, because some are so full of hate they are blinded by it.

i posted this same thing a good while back - you won't get many answers from the anti's on this one - because they don't have one - they just pretend they didn't see the question
You can't tell by public emotion. ALOT of people won't show thier emotions in public.
