Congrats on Twins!!!! My friend just had twins 5 months ago, she had a boy and a girl so its a different situation. Now she got two cribs but the first two months she had them sleep together in the same crib close to eachother to help them sleep, now they are 5 months and have different sleeping patterns so they need to be in their own crib. She has two of everything and I mean EVERYTHING but I dont think it is necessary. Good Luck and congrats on your DOUBLE blessing! You will have double, actually TRIPLE the memories with your boys and your little girl!

I'm not a mom of twins, but I do think you will need two of most things as they get older. At first you could do moses baskets and have them share the crib or let them sleep together as that is often more comforting to a twin. As they get older and develop different sleeping habits or sibling rivalry, they will need their own bed. You don't obviously need two diaper genies or two changing areas, but you will need twice the clothes, diapers, bottles, bathing and cleaning supplies. As for things when they get older, I don't see why you couldn't have one doing one thing and one doing another. Just because they are twins doesn't mean they need to do everything at the same time. One could play on the floor while the other played in a walker or jumping chair. This way it saves you money because honestly they grow so fast and don't have memories of these times that you have to do what you can to make sure that your family can adjust.
Yes, having multiples does increase your liklihood of delivering premature, so I'd go ahead an get started on that nursery so you don't have to do anything last minute. So happy for you. God bless you and your little ones!

While I am not the mother of twins, my mother had twin fraternal girls.
Perhaps there is some sort of a twin club that othet mothers of twins could help to answer your many questions.
Please do NOT name them rhyming names or anything like that. They might be twins, but they are still individuals.
My sisters were always asked "Are you 2 twins?" At first htey would answer yes - but grew tired of that and would answer " not - we're triplets, the other one is at home" or say something like "No- we are just very good frieds who happen to look alike".
So, please try to treat them as the individuals they are -espically as they get older. Don't make them dress alike unless they want to - otherwise that will lead to resentment on their part.
The most important thing is to enjoy them.

I'm a fraternal twin, and my mom carried my sister and me 2 weeks past her due date...(way too long, but what do you expect from an army hospital?) YOU will probably want at least 2 of everything but the boys won't care till they get older...(big grin).

I have same dual boys. They're 7 and demand on dressing alike plenty. I constantly dressed them another way as infants, they began insisting on being dressed alike after they have been two one million/two or three, and do it practically always now. Or else they are going to put on handiest moderately distinctive clothes, or a variant at the equal outfit. I on occasion drive them to put on separate apparel, exceptionally if we are going out and I do not wish to preserve counting the equal character two times, however as a rule I allow it move. It insects the heck out of me, however I take a look at to not allow that exhibit except they purposefully put on distinctive clothes then transfer to confuse every person.
