Does this Science Fair project sound ok, or does it sound really dumb?

It's just taking a pic and then saving it as different forms, like PNG, JPEG, TIFF, etc. and then comparing like the file sizes, pic quality, etc.

I know it's a middle school project but I hate science and I just want something quick and easy, where I don't stutter over confusing terms and ideas.

Computer science is acceptable, yes?

Can you develop a theory, hypothesis, and draw a conclusion from that?

A project along those lines would be... Can you tell a quality difference in the images based on their file size?

Save similar images in different formats, record the size and print them all out.
