All I know about sleeping right after eating or laying down is that it slows down the digestive process... so I guess you gain weight a little more?

You did get up early, so you were tired to begin with, but you ate a high carbohydrate dinner, and this often makes people sleepy. You need to be careful of your blood sugar levels. It's bad in the sense that you should make an appointment with a nutritionist. I would say a doctor, and have a panel of blood tests run, but most doctors don't have any practical training in nutrition, and tend to prescribe a pill. The blood tests are a good idea, though. A nutritionist can lay out a plan for you to eat during the day so that you won't eat foods that will make you sleepy mid-day. Everyone has different metabolisms. Make sure that you get a copy of your (fasting) bloodtest and bring it to a certified nutritionist, possibly connected with the local hospital. You will get a plan for your type.
Is it bad? No, but it's a sign that you are reacting strongly to certain stimuli, and you have to adjust your lifestyle to it accordingly.

It is advised not to go to bed immediately after eating as sleep slows down the metabolism and affects the digestion of food. So sometimes you end up feeling bloated after getting up.
Today you were tired and had a very hectic day so it was quite natural for you to fall asleep. But I would suggest you not to make this a habit as it will affect you health in the long run. Make sure you go to bed atleast one hour after you have eaten food.

what is bad is NOT taking a nap when your body tells you to.. you can drive yourself to stay awake and once your brain realizes that you have no intention of sleeping.. it will call upon its adrenlin reserves and give you energy.. but somewhere along the way.. your body will run out of gas and your brain will tell you that is enough.. go take a NAP.. it does not matter whether you have eaten or not.. and no it is not a bad thing to do.. sometimes your stomach needs to have something in it so it can absorb the acid.. so .. the answer is NO.. you did the right thing on both counts..

Its not particularly bad, just not great. When you eat your blood goes to your stomach to help digest, that is why you get sleepy. Eating before sleeping does not give you a restful sleep, because you're body is too busy trying to digest and it can't focus on sleeping.

I would not say that it's bad. Have you ever heard of siestas? They are common practice after an afternoon meal in many Latin countries. It's natural for you to get sleep when you are tired, so don't worry.

It's not bad if you did it once or a few times but if you continue to do it you may start to gain weight. And it the kind of weight that goes all over.

It is only bad if the nap is involuntary such as when you are driving a car. Otherwise, enjoy the snooze.

No, your body is just taking control back from you.
After meals, blood is directed to your stomach to digest food.
