ServantofGod...trust me, someone having OPEN HEART SURGERY would NOT be out of the hospital that quickly. Given, there are several kinds of cardiac surgery...ie. angioplasty and pacemaker insertion...that are all but outpatient procedures. Open heart, however, is another story. The infection risk is higher, post-op complications can take longer to manifest...there's just no way a licensed cardiac surgeon would have a patient released that quickly.

I say someone isn't telling you the whole story.

Nope, I had a single bypass, and it was 5 days before I was able to go home, the crack open your chest, you cant even take a deep breath for weeks, even sleep is next to impossible without sitting up

Now a day yes it just depends on the severity of the surgery. My neighboor had a heartattack and was home in 2 days. My other neighboor had heart surgery and was home the next day.

NO, I had a 7x bypass, was 4 days before they removed brain tubes. An I recovered fast not slow. That is if they split his chest,if they went thru the rib area, maybe.
