The day right after Thanksgiving is over. It's the first day of the shopping season for Christmas holiday. Black Friday is when all the stores cut down their prices to the lowest of the year. The discounts are only available from 5-6am till afternoon. It's hectic when you shop during this day.

Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving when everybody goes shopping because of the big discounts the stores are offering. It is called Black Friday because before that day, the economy is in a red status where revenue is not as high but after that day the economic status rises out of the red, therefore called Black Friday.

This is the Friday right after Thanksgiving Thursday, when retailers officially start their Holiday Season sales and whatnot. These are accompanied by the "doorbuster" sales, and it's not uncommon to sometimes see people as early as 3AM waiting for this shopping opportunity.

A common misconception though, is that this is NOT the busiest shopping day in the year, although it was is 2002 and 2005.

Go shopping this Friday, and experience it all for yourself!

I've never been good at answering riddles, because riddles require additional info (what someone has learned) that is not included in the message/ riddle itself. As far as I can tell, though, the big stumper of this riddle is: "If you do it once, its good." i_luvclovers, the asker of this riddle, posted this riddle before. He posted it as a sin previously, but changed it to serious crime. I guess that's for clarification. Either way, with that said, i_luvclovers did not change anything else about the riddle. Such as clarifying whether it is "If you do it once (in one day), its good." or "If you do it once (at all), its good." If a riddle doesn't say anything, don't assume. Anyways, that's my two-cents thrown into the peanut-gallery. I hope someone figures it out, cause it's an interesting riddle. PS: Just for kicks, I'm going to throw in an answer. "if you do it once, its good. if you do it twice on the same day, its a serious crime." Jury Duty?

it is the day after thanksgiving, supposedly the opening day of christmas shopping. though in the last 5 - 10 years, people have started shopping earlier and earlier. So I don't know if it totally applies anymore. there are usually a lot of early bird pre-10am bargains at stores and added incentives to shop at the crack of dawn.
