As a society, we often have to decide when someone has paid a debt and should be allowed to return to a somewhat normal life. The catch is, should additional punishment be handed down by sports leagues?
So, for example, say Joe Baseball is 26, gets convicted of perjury, and serves a year in jail. When he gets out, is his baseball career over? Do we take away his right to make a living in baseball for the rest of his life?
It's a tough issue. It probably needs to be taken on a case by case basis. I understand the need for supplemental discipline, but we are allowed to make mistakes sometime.

They should should not..they are a black eye on a team and a organization that they are a part of. Plus, any ordianry person would have to serve time in prison or jail. Such as Pacman Jones, Tank Johnson, Michael Vick..any other American who did something like this would be serving some hard time.
